instruction(s)
I don't usually write, but I wanted to tell you about my funny/weird experience on the GO Bus today. This lady followed me all the way from the GO station to my streetcar ride home grilling me about myself and my family. I certainly didn't go into any sort of detail regarding anything she asked me, but she was quite intrusive and either didn't notice or chose not to notice my not-so-subtle cues about my general distain for the subject matter (ex. What's your GPA? Where do you live? How old is your mother?). I guess all this had to do with her two daughters and medical school - they are both undergraduates. A great part of her questioning was advice about how to get into med school - the interviews, prerequisites, GPAs, applications, etc. - as you can imagine, it was an exhausting ride. Plus she kept on talking about what her daughters looked like ("...yes beautiful, like a cross between Chinese and Japanese...long black hair…") and that she wanted me to meet them. Her suggestion was that we have dinner together with my parents. Right. She kept on telling me she only wanted them to be happy but I have my degree of doubt. She even went as far as giving me their family home address in Toronto - street number and condo suite number! No, she didn't seem unstable, giving this complete stranger their ADDRESS. Did I mention she had a PhD in Pharmacy and Management? It was awkward with me not reciprocating the information at all, I could tell that she wanted me to but I just pretended to be oblivious at this point. Yup, and there was a whole one and a half hours of this.
What are your strategies for getting out of these situations? I guess I could have faked a sudden onset of narcoleptic symptoms, but I didn’t feel like lying.
Enough of my ranting! Enjoy the sexy weekend!

This one is far too scary,
not suitable for Friday mid-night.@@
Pretty daughters? Dinner together? Wow~
Maybe you could try and say you have a gf already?
Hum…but desperate woman is unstoppable anyway…^^"
Maybe the photo that would go nicely with your story is a picture of door instructions that says "push" rather than "pull" - for Kevin's need to give pushback to desperate moms who want to marry off their daughters. LOL!
haha.. just tell her you have to make an urgent call, pick up your phone and call your gf ;p hahahah
