I really enjoy the atmosphere of Nathan Phillips Square during this time of year. Everyone's having fun with their mothers and their fathers; their group of friends; and with everyone on the ice - an air of peacefulness abounds. It may be weird but I love it when the Zamboni comes and everyone gets off the ice, watching it - almost spellbound - go around and around for half an hour.

I didn't know this until recently, but there's a piece of the Berlin Wall at the southern base of the central arch. That's cool.
